Personal, Social and Career Development – Skills for Life
P.S.C.D. gives the students the opportunity to think, reflect and acquire skills for their daily life and for their future. The P.S.C.D. sessions help students to grow and develop their personal, social and career-related skills. These are the skills tackled in class:
P.S.C.D. is different from other subjects since the teacher facilitates the session through various activities and methodologies. The group discussion helps the students reflect and acquire the skills mentioned above in the light of the current realities and situations the students live in their everyday life.
It is important that the students realise that every individual needs to acquire knowledge and develop these soft skills to be able to move into adulthood. The students need to be able to enter the workforce equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills. Investing in these skills is essential for the holistic development of the individual.
